Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that an in-person public hearing will be held by the City of Slater, Iowa on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications, and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 6:00, P.M. on May 18, 2026, at its office at City Hall, 101 Story Street, Slater, IA 50244 for the 2026 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project.


General Nature of Proposed Improvement


The work includes all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for extension of 18-inch gravity sewer, precast manholes with castings, stop logs, cast-in-place concrete, rip-rap stone; surface restoration; testing, start-up; and miscellaneous associated work, including restoration and clean-up. The two 18-plug valves will be provided by the OWNER.
