Library/Community Center Update: The Building Committee will continue to advance its efforts to secure funding for the new Library/Community Center following Council's motion at last night’s meeting, which allocated $2.5 million to the project, with two caveats: 1) There will be no increase in property taxes, and 2) If the Library/Community Center project does not proceed due to a lack of supplemental funding from alternative sources, all city funds would revert back to the city.
