We have some exciting events coming up. Please see the attached flyers for more specific details:
-Two public meetings have been scheduled for the new/updated Community Center/Library building plans.
-Gather: Farm-to-Table Dinner is scheduled for this Sat., Sept. 21, rain or shine! We have a plan in place to keep everyone dry if it rains. Click here for tickets. Silent auction items are now open to the public for bidding. Click here to view & bid on items. We still need volunteers - especially to serve our guests at dinner. Would your family consider adopting a table of 8 guests to serve from 6pm-7:30pm? Practicing being a waiter/waitress would be a great experience for upper elementary & middle school kids, but we would need parents/grandparents supervising and helping them out. High school or college-aged students do not need parents/grandparents to be present. Click here if you'd like to sign up to volunteer.
-The Slater Baptist Church will have free pumpkins & a tractor show this Sat., Sept. 21 from 12pm-3pm.
-Two fun & free downtown events will be taking place next weekend - Sept. 27, 28, & 29 (same days & times) - Slater's Main Street Business Crawl and the Central Iowa Junk Jaunt. All ages are welcome!
-Porch Concert Fundraiser: Sun., Oct. 6, 2pm-4pm, free will donation
